AN EVENING AT OLD HARRYS ROCKS

Old Harrys Rocks, a unique rock formation located on the South Coast of England that appears on my Instagram explore feed pretty much every day in some way or another, it's one of the most photographed locations in the UK and for good reason. As much as I've always thought about visiting and taking some photos, I've been some what reluctant to capture the same kind of images as so many other photographers do on a daily basis, that being said I couldn't resist any longer. It was time.

Here are some of the photos from my evening at Old Harrys Rocks featuring my friend Hugh, two climbers with balls big-enough to abseil down one of those vertical cliff faces and an unknown couple that had just got married.

For those interested I took these on my Sony A7RII w/ Sigma 35mm 1.4 & a Canon 70-200mm 2.8 lens. A DJI Mavic Pro and a Bronica ETRS Medium Format film camera w/ a few rolls of Portra 160 film (although I kinda ruined both films because there was a bit of paper stuck inside the camera.. I'll post a separate blog with those pictures somewhere down the line).

For anyone interested, I have added two drone images from this trip to my shop

Peace.

AMELIA WOLFFROSE - BOTANICAL GARDENS

This was supposed to be the first ever shoot with my Bronica medium format film camera but for some annoyingly unknown reason, only one of the sixteen images on the roll were present when I had them developed. Anyway, I brought along my Sony cameras too and managed to capture some pretty nice shots inside the Botanical Gardens.

STALE SANDBECH - MONSTER ENERGY

A bit late but in earlier this year I travelled to Oslo, Norway to shoot with Professional Snowboarder and Olympic Silver Medalist Stale Sandbech for Monster Energy. The actual shoot was inside a skatepark but these were taken after around the back of the building using only natural light and my Sony A7rii & Sigma 35mm combo, sometimes you don't have to look far to find great backdrops.
